Spring has arrived, the clocks have gone forward and there’s a cock’s step in the evenings. It is a time for joyous singing! And it has been a busy start to the year for Kerry Choral Union. We have been flat out rehearsing for our Spring Concerts, the first of which is this coming Sunday (14.04.2019) in St. Patrick’s Church, Millstreet, where we will be joining our friends from Duhallow Choral Society for what is sure to be a wonderful evening. Last Sunday’s rehearsal in Millstreet was really good and we were all delighted with how well the two choirs blended together – both vocally and socially! The video below features a taste of the rehearsal with images from the gorgeous St. Patrick’s. The concert starts at 7:00 p.m. Don’t be late!

Eagle-eyed readers will also note that we’ve had a bit of a spring clean on the website too. It’s the time of year for it after all. Take a look around, we’ll be adding more photos and videos in the months ahead!

2018 Table Quiz

Thanks to everyone who came to support our second annual table quiz in Stokers Lodge on Friday 19th October. We had a great turnout and a great night. A huge thank you also to all those who donated prizes and made the raffle such a success. Congratulations to Brian Fitz and co. on their win. And a final thank you to our quiz master Sean Lyons who did a fantastic job.

Our annual Flag Day

Our annual Flag Day is on the 17th of April 2015. Members will be outside shops in Tralee, collecting to support the choir’s activities. Any contribution, no matter how small, will be much appreciated.

The choir contributes to the local community by running concerts for fundraising efforts for local charities. It is also a social and creative outlet for members, encouraging and teaching choral singing.
